How it works

On receiving your pre-order on the website here or on our payment pages, we process your order directly to the orchard. Our team at the orchard then hand picks apples just before packing your box. Only the choicest and flawless apples are selected - locally referred to as Supreme grade. The boxes are packed and dispatched to our Panchkula warehouse where the boxes are inspected, marked with shipping details and dispatched further for delivery to you.

About

About O'Kinnaur

O’Kinnaur is a venture by engineers from PEC Chandigarh and Thapar Patiala, who started this venture to bring - fresh, chemical free and top grade apples to Indian customers, direct from farm, cutting out hoarders and middlemen.

We source from several orchards located in Kinnaur distict of Himachal Pradesh. With orchards situated atop fertile mountain soil, irrigated by pristine water of glaciers and pollinated in a pollution free environment by the Himalayan honey bee.

About the apple

Our orchard grows Royal Red Delicious apples. We handpick from those apples only the best (based on color, color consistency, size, no marks and blemishes) for packing in the O'Kinnaur brand boxes. So rest assured that when you buy O'Kinnaur you're only getting the top quality authentic Kinnaur apple, delivered orchard fresh.

About the location

Kinnaur is known for it's exquisite apples. Within Kinnaur our apples come from villages around Wangtu, Kalpa and Rekong Peo. We get favorable conditions of weather to grow a great crop.

About the team

Karan - Karan is a tech entrepreneur with a knack for nature and the outdoors. He loves travelling and adventure. He is a strong believer in eating fresh and healthy foods. He is passionate to bring fresh produce from Kinnaur to all households in India. Karan is a part of St Johns Old Boys Association (SJOBA), Punjab Engineering College Old Student Association (PECOSA) and is a Babson College (Boston, USA) alumnus. Karan has been an active member for social change through Round Table and TIE Chandigarh.

Varun - Varun has a Masters from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, USA and a Bachelors in Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala. Varun loves eating healthy and really researches the ingredients and background of the foods that he eats. He is also a part of St Johns Old Boys Association (SJOBA) and is an old Sanawarian. Varun has been an active Rotaractor (Rotary Club).

Delivery Schedule

Kinnaur apples usually start maturing September onwards. For higher altitude orchards they mature by September end. We get a continuous supply of good apples September end through November.

Our deliveries start last week of September 2023 onwards and weekly deliveries continue till mid November

We'll be shipping orders via our courier delivery partners like Amazon, Dehlivery and DTDC

Once your order is placed, you can expect the delivery within 5-10 days depending your address

Please note that since we're dealing with agriculture produce harvest dates may vary, and so may the output of our orchards. Dates mentioned during order are indicative; and a day or two variation may happen. That said, it's our endeavour to get the produce to you timely and orchard fresh. At O'Kinnaur our focus is to get you to taste the best of Kinnaur apples. In the event, if you are displeased with the product or services provided, we will refund back the money, provided the reasons are genuine and proved after investigation.

Cancellation Policy

For Cancellations please contact the us on our email support@okinnaur.com 10 business days prior to scheduled delivery

Refund Policy

In case you find the product to be not up to the mark or damaged please write to us with pics or videos within 1 day of receipt. After verification, we'll send you a replacement box at no charge.

Please note that sometimes during transportation via courier partner there could be damage because of mishandling of the boxes. If your box is received damaged please email us immediately on receipt with pics or video to our email support@okinnaur.com

Please note that refunds take 5-7 business days to reflect. Once the refund is initiated from our end, our payment gateway will be processing it directly to the same medium that you used for the payment

Quality issues

Our team goes through lengths to inspect, sort and ensure that you only get the top quality apples. However, if you receive a bad batch, please excuse us, we're still a young venture and are bound to fail sometimes. Just kindly email us with a picture of the apples, the box and a few lines about the issue you faced. Allow our team to review your issue, and they will surely and definitely find ways to fix the problem for you.
